I had a really interesting shoot yesterday, I was called by an actor Hugo Chandor www.hugochandor.co.uk who wanted some head shots producing for his agent. As he was local we quickly arranged to get together and have a chat on what he was looking for, Hugo said that he wanted to get a couple of different looks both in a natural environment and a studio type shot.

So armed with the trusty 70-200mm f2.8L we went for a stroll and took a variety of shots against different backdrops, a church, a reddish bush, Morecambe Bay and some of the traditional fishermans cottages, before setting up a black backdrop, and using a single speedlite in a softbox got some contrasty shots which I really liked, here are a few from the session.
