I was really happy to be chosen to photograph the wedding of Viv and Dave at the Best Western Glendower Hotel, in St Annes Lancashire. The bride had made it clear that it would be a relaxed and casual wedding, and she wanted us to capture the spirit of the day.

After a week of wonderful weather, and despite a very gloomy outlook in the morning the weather was great, which was a bonus as it enabled us to get outside to get some shots. The Glendower is a fabulous hotel, with lots of places within the hotel to get great shots if the weather isn't great, but as it doesn't have gardens as such, the weather allowed us to get shots over the road from the hotel with the sand dunes in the background, and we also went a couple of minutes down the road to Ashton Gardens these are beautiful gardens in such close proximity to the hotel, which just gives you an alternative backdrop for photographs.

It was a pleasure to photograph Viv and Dave's day, and the couple seemed very happy as on the Monday I got this brilliant review

We celebrated our wedding at the Glendower hotel in June and Gavin was our photographer. He was friendly, professional, efficient and all our requests were met superbly. Most of the time we never noticed he was there. He's a great  guy with a good sense of humour and we had lots of laughs. We're so glad we chose Gavin, he made it so easy.
