I recently photographed a lovely wedding for a great couple at the iconic White Church in Lytham St Annes, and later at the stunning Best Western Glendower Hotel in St Annes.

The bride the previous week had done the hair for a bride whose wedding I also shot, she was really concerned about the weather, as it was quite dull and wet that week, but like I say to all brides you shouldn't worry about the weather, whilst we would all love a wonderful sunny day, a good photographer will get you you fabulous images whatever the weather, and it will reflect the day, anyway she had no need to worry as it was a gloriously sunny day, in fact we could've done with a few more clouds, as we had to be careful to avoid squints and harsh shadows.

The White Church is an amazing building http://bit.ly/2sqaMVT perfect for a backdrop for a wedding, the bride and groom were then chauffered by Dan Waller Cars https://www.facebook.com/DanWallerCars/ from the Church to King Edward VII School http://www.arnoldkeqms.com/ which was the grooms school, and again was a great backdrop for a couple of shots, before heading to Best Western Plus Glendower Hotel http://www.glendowerhotel.co.uk/ for the wedding reception. I always enjoy weddings at The Glendower as apart from it being in a great location opposite the Sand Dunes and other great spots for photographs, the hotel, which has recently been renovated is stunning, and the staff are always so helpful, which for a photographer is great, as they don't put you under pressure to rush things, they just want to ensure everything runs as the bride and groom had envisaged.

The bride loves everything Disney, and as such had a Minnie Mouse theme for her wedding, with red and black highly visible and a Mickey and Minnie wedding cake, and even her bouquet was made up with silk flowers to mimic Minnie Mouse!
